Worker at the Pajot workshop then master luthier. Throughout his career, his stamp indicated Janzat rather than Jenzat.

Fir soundboard decorated with geometric patterns in cochineal carmine and lined with bone and ebony marquetry. Body made of nine ribs of maple and walnut. Pegbox carved with a woman’s head. Mother-of-pearl marquetry on an ebony background. Bone and ebony fingerboards.
